Standardized Assessments compare your child to other children their age. These assessments can assist your pediatrician in diagnosing; Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, and can provide important information to you, your OT, and any other healthcare professionals or educators involved in your child’s life.

Includes: OT consultation time, testing, scoring, interpretation and report.

The Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales is an assessment used to measure a child’s everyday skills. It looks at areas like communication, daily living skills, socialization, and motor skills. It is completed through caregiver interviews or questionnaires, it helps identify strengths and support needs in children with developmental or behavioural challenges.

The Movement Assessment Battery for Children (MABC) is a standardized tool used to identify motor coordination difficulties. It assesses a child's fine and gross motor skills through tasks like catching, drawing, or balancing. The results help determine if a child may have developmental coordination disorder (DCD) or other motor-based challenges, and can guide Therapy and other care plans.

Includes: OT testing, scoring, report, and either the McMaster Handwriting Assessment Protocol or The Sensory Profile 2nd Edition

It involves copying a series of shapes and patterns, helping to identify challenges with tasks like writing, drawing, or using tools. The results support planning for strategies to improve visual-motor skills in everyday activities.
